Generating clean, renewable power from wave energy

Carnegie has developed a wave technology for generating clean, renewable power from wave energy. Trials have successfully supported progressive up-scaling of the original experimental systems and its first full scale commercial plant is being built near Perth to provide both electricity and potable desalinated water to Australia’s largest naval base, HMAS Stirling, on Garden Island in Western Australia.
